Sometimes i wish i could repay
with my money and presents
Sometimes i wish i could repay

People walked into my life in

People helped me in times of
my flimsy anger and greed
Some carried me message of hope
Rest brought me a bundle of joy
They carried my burden on them,
and now i wish i could repay
It is not easy to give back,
for mother’s love is boundless
and father’s support is matchless
Your lover’s belief is your substance
and your sibling’s words a solace
Your friend is your mirror to reflect upon
when the whole world pounces on you
I wish to remain indebted to them
Now I don’t wish to repay these immortals
I will pass on my gratitude to our descendants at home
I will continue their selfless legacy for ages to come
